Hexagon Spoon
A range of hand-cut vintage spoons featuring asymmetrical patterns and textures.
The Petri Dish series “turns the bowl of the spoon into a site of change,” becoming a medium for experimentation much like its namesake. Using a jewelry sawblade, Brian cuts delicate asymmetrical, fractal patterns into the spoons — a process that is especially difficult because of the uneven surface and changing thickness of the metal throughout the bowl of the spoon.
- Repurposed Silver-Plated Flatware
- Approx. 6"-8" Long
- One of a Kind
Designed and Made by Brian Weissman
